Flaine is not huge but it boasts a Picasso, stark concrete award-winning buildings, an extensive ski terrain and an excellent snow record. The village has two sectors, Flaine Foret and Flaine Forum; both have easy access to the slopes and are connected with two 24-hour lifts.
Flaine Tourism is really helpful and their website www.flaine.com has all the details you may need about the resort and the accommodation options and agencies. The ski map is available here and the resort map is available here.
Getting to Flaine
The Flaine website has a map of the location. Access to Flaine
The nearest airport is Geneva. Single or shared airport transfers are available from Go Massif. Their price list is here. We have arranged a 20% discount for AICC skiers. Please contact Catherine Shelley email@example.com with your name, email address and telephone number to get your discount voucher.
Accommodation comprises mainly self-catering apartments but there are also a few good hotels. Apartments range from “good value” to “luxury” and are generally let from Saturday to Saturday, so you might consider spending a full week in the area.
The Hotel Terminal Neige Totem, and 4 star Residence Le Centaur and many apartments are located in Flaine Forum whereas the more modern and luxurious Helios and Eos apartments are slightly further out and served by shuttle bus.
We have partnered with Erna Low for your accommodation and they can handle bookings from Italy, Austria and Switzerland as well as the UK.
Whilst both apartments and hotels can be booked through their website, they have recommended you contact them directly to discuss your requirements, in particular if you are booking for several people. Please contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +44 (0) 20 7584 2841 and quote AICC. Further details can be seen here or on their website www.ernalow.co.uk
